From the Mayflower's voyage for religious liberty to the open door of the Most Holy Place in 1844, the story of the Bride is the story of the Sanctuary. The contest for the 144,000--the Lamb's wife--has begun. The parable of the ten virgins (Matthew 25) is being fulfilled. The Bridegroom is calling: "Behold, the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him."
Isaiah 54:5: "For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name."
Matthew 25: The wise virgins enter the marriage by faith.
Queen Esther: The contest for the crown is a type of the Bride's selection.
Ellen White wrote: "The marriage represents the reception by Christ of His kingdom. The holy city, the New Jerusalem, which is the capital and representative of the kingdom, is called 'the bride, the Lamb's wife.' ... The guests are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. ... In the parable of Matthew 25, the wise virgins represent those who have a pure faith and are ready for the coming of the Bridegroom." (Great Controversy, p. 426)
The 7th day Sabbath is the sign of the Bride's loyalty. To keep the Sabbath is to enter into covenant with Christ, the true Husband. Learn how to keep the Sabbath and receive the seal of God:
The Bride is called to perform miracles by faith in the promises of Christ. Matthew 18:19: "If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
