The 1850 Prophecy Chart

The 1850 Prophecy Chart is a foundational Adventist document, created with the direct involvement of Otis Nichols and Mary Bird Nichols, and endorsed by Ellen White as being “directed by the hand of the Lord.”

Ellen White’s Endorsement

“I saw that the truth should be made plain upon tables, that the earth and the fullness thereof is the Lord’s, and that necessary means should not be spared to make it plain. I saw that the charts ordered by God should be used…”

Ellen White never gave such an endorsement to any later chart. The 1850 chart stands alone as the visual summary of the Advent movement’s prophetic understanding.
